A pretty and solid “House fly” in the frame. They belong to the family ‘Muscidae’. Muscidae, some of which are also known as stable flies due to their synanthropy, are worldwide in distribution and contain almost 4,000 described species in over 100 genera. This was found and photographed last year April, in the outskirts of Pollachi. More to come. Stick around. 😊
