Also it has been a while since I posted a mammal in my profile, so here it is. When I say mammal, don’t expect a massive Tiger or a Leopard, I don’t have images of that. There a lot of passionate people who photograph that alone. Here I am presenting you all, a very elusive, less known and secretive mammal that is endemic to dry arid regions & scrubby jungles in South-eastern India. Yes, its a cute looking “Bare-bellied Hedgehog or Madras Hedgehog (Paraechinus nudiventris)”, a mother and her kid in the frame. Sighted and photographed at Tirunelveli outskirts, during the month of August, 2018. More to come, stay tuned. 😊
